Before Jim began his career as a REALTOR^®, he gained experience in the financial and telecom industries. While a home-grown product of the Eastern Panhandle, Jim spent seven years in Ohio and graduated with honors in Economics from the College of Wooster, then worked several sales jobs in the Cleveland area. One of those jobs was with New York Life, and it was there that Jim began to build his knowledge base that would lead him to real estate. While working for New York Life, Jim learned more about financial products and gained experience in helping clients make decisions that would impact their lives. In 2002, he returned home to his native West Virginia to follow in his father’s footsteps and begin a career in real estate. Since then, Jim has earned well-rounded experience in numerous types of real estate. Whether it’s helping an investor with a commercial property, guiding first-time home buyers through the process, or getting top dollar for his sellers’ homes, there isn’t much Jim hasn’t done in the industry.

A licensed broker in West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia, Jim is a member of the Eastern Panhandle Board of REALTORS^® Top Producer Hall of Fame and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ Leading Edge Society. He enjoys supporting the Tomahawk Intermediate School teachers and staff and sponsoring local charitable events and groups.  When Jim isn’t helping clients and colleagues, he loves spending time with his family, playing golf, and traveling.  Jim lives in Hedgesville, West Virginia with his wife and two sons.
